VŠE Ball 2017 Annual gala event
Tickets sale only 6th November – 10th November

University of Economics in Prague invites you to attend the Representative Ball. It will take place on Wednesday 6 December 2017 in Prague's Lucerna grand hall.  You can look forward to a rich program, 3 halls, 3500 people, and a lot of fun, music and dance. Come to one of the biggest balls in Europe.

Tickets sale will start on Monday 6 November 2017 and will last only one week. Here are the details of ticket sale:


TIME: Monday to Thursday 9:00 – 16:30 Friday 9:00 – 14:00

PLACE: Counters next to the University canteen

The highlight of the gala program will be the performance of the finalists of VSE’s GOT TALENT 2017. The competition was founded by VSE in 2011 and awards students’ creativity and arts skills.  All university students – including exchange students, graduates and academia staff members may apply and win interesting prizes. In the past years, the contest was very popular among exchange students, and every year reached the contestant from abroad final round and won a prize.

VŠE Ball 2017


Since 2010 the University of Economics in Prague has held its annual gala event. All three large spaces of Prague's Lucerna Palace (the Grand Hall, the Music Bar and the restaurant) merge to make space for teachers and students and their friends and families. Come and join us on this grand night.

Note: The red marker Red marker identifies the location of Lucerna Hall and the purple marker Purple marker identifies the location of VŠE campus.

Subway: by lines A or B to Můstek station (exit Vodičkova) or by lines A or C to Muzeum station (exit Václavské náměstí).

Tram: by lines 3, 9, 14, 20, 24 to Václavské náměstí station.

How to get home

Because the subway stops running roughly at midnight and the trams change to night schedule, you will need to use one of the night tram lines (unless you leave after 5am in which case the daytime schedule applies):
